The EveryWoman Gathering Workshop

My Kintsugi Heart

Angie is Offering a safe, creative, and compassionate space for women to reflect on the cracks, strength, and beauty of their experiences using the metaphor of Kintsugi and the art of heart-shaped origami. The session promotes healing, connection, self-compassion, and empowerment for any aspect of life where introspection, reframing and renewal are desired. Through the gentle process of Kintsugi and the art of origami, this beautiful and powerful session invites healing and renewal through self-reflection and creative expression.

Through the process of creating a beautiful heart with colours and desires, and then tearing it apart, seeing it broken is a very powerful action. Together, with the women in the circle, repairing your heart, as best as you can, it doesn't always go back together perfectly, painting the cracks with gold, highlighting the broken parts with gold, as that is where the beauty is. Then admiring the new version of this beautiful heart and what it represents is transformative. This session promotes healing, connection, self-compassion, and empowerment for any aspect of life where introspection, reframing and renewal are desired.

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
