What others say about Womanhood

“Really worth the commitment – jam packed with opportunities for personal growth.  Invaluable guided support in a warm safe setting.  I am more in touch with my true essence, more sure of myself and less inhibited by rules.”    Caitlin Roy

“Womanhood helped me deepen my sense of my sensuality and femininity, my courage to share and to be real.  Sharing in the circle was very powerful.   I  am taking from Womanhood more of a reverence for the yin and for women’s ways, and a desire to spread this to other women.    Penny Hayes

“Thank you for the freedom to say, feel and do without feeling for one minute I would be judged. Your undeniable love, caring, support and friendship you each bring to all the women, the purpose and passion that you both display is very powerful’  Kim Holland

"My wife's life has flourished since Womanhood, it's been fantastic for both our growth".  Graham J.

"I am deeply grateful, the Womanhood experience has changed me and how I see the feminine."   Sharon G.

My first step into WWA's courses was one of the most frightening experiences of my life, but one that I now am really glad I took.  My life has changed immeasurably;through my relationships, with mySelf and others, through knowing myself, particularily as a woman and through the thoughts, experiences, feelings and spirits of my sisters.  I so highly recommend it to You.  If you are ready to really get to know yourSelf then give it a go.     CJR

Committee Members

I joined the WWA Committee in late 2005 in the Membership role, following completion of the Womanhood programme. I found the programme to be a pivotal point in my life and gave me insight and understanding of self, and a new appreciation of the women in my life. The clarification and direction I received from the programme, the support and care received from the facilitators, inspired me to be a part of this little known organisation and give back to my community what I had received. So I repeated Womanhood as a trainee facilitator and joined the committee. I have facilitated Womanhood at Beenleigh and Brisbane and am working with the Logan community to run a programme there as well. I have also been on the EveryWoman Gathering committee and have attended each Gathering weekend, an awesome experience in itself. Being a Committee member has been very rewarding. Each committee member is a volunteer and gives their time freely and with much joy, even though sometimes it can be a challenge. When I have found myself struggling with the commitment, the others have been incredibly supportive and affirming and more than happy to share the load until things smooth out. The WWA community gives to it's own as much care and compassion as it gives to the community in general. I am honoured to be a part of it.
