Janet's EveryWoman Workshop

WOMAN’S BODY, WOMAN’S WISDOM
Every woman’s body has a story to tell. She holds her sexual history in her cells, in her flesh, in her bones. It is important for a woman to make peace with her body’s sexual past, to let its story be told, to release and heal, in order for her to be free to live and respond from her natural state – deeply and receptively sensual, open, alive, innocent and spontaneous.
This will be an experiential journey through story, art, movement, visualisation and ritual to elicit embedded beliefs and feelings and come to completion and release.

Robin's EveryWoman Workshop

'HEALING THE OLD, STEPPING INTO THE NEW'
Surrender, dive deep, sit, play, dance and connect with other women in your place of true power. Share your wisdom and receive the wisdom that is within each of us. Step into the balance of love, wisdom and power and surrender all that is not of your journey now.

In a circle of sacred space the power of a ‘Give Away’ ceremony is woven. Bring your intention and a special object that symbolises something you are ready to let go of from your life. Know what is perfect for you now and receive a symbol of that to take home.

The power of ceremony and ritual to support our lives and help us step into our purpose more fully will be felt through out ‘Everywoman Gathering’ and very strongly in Robin’s workshop. Please also bring sacred objects to weave a central alter together. Blessings on your journey.

Linda's EveryWoman Workshop

THE COLOUR OLIVE &  FEMININE TRANSFORMATION

The colour Olive reveals it’s psychology through the olive tree, its fruit and it’s oil.   We see within their intrinsic nature, the same tenacity, endurance, usefulness, practicality, nurturing and potential for transformation that all women have embodied throughout the ages.  There are untold depths, and untold stories, lying deep within the pale golden-green tints, the mid-olive hues, and the darkly brooding camouflage of the deep black/green shades, of olive. Throughout all ages and stages of human civilisation, it’s the women who have been the Lightbringers and the Lightbearers.  Whether in the home or in the temple we have maintained the light for our families and our communities.  Are we women, like the olive, able to transform the bitter fruit of our challenges into something sweet and tasty?

About Melaina Faranda

Melaina Faranda is a mother, friend, writer, teacher, and the author of fifteen novels published in Australia and internationally, including a series for teenage girls: The Circle, woven around the mythic and female spirituality. A natural born storyteller, she is regularly flown around Australia to tell stories and give creative writing workshops. She has also established and facilitated personal development groups for teenage girls, a monthly full moon group, and women’s events such as the: Wonderful Women’s Weekend, Celebration of the Chakras, and Storytelling and Soul Doll Making. She creates these gatherings because sitting in a circle of women feels like ancient homecoming…

Melaina has conducted hundreds of creative writing workshops and in each aims to create a beautiful, sacred experience for those interested in story making and writing, those more neutral, and those scared stiff and / or downright resistant, to discover the deeper voices inside that make us more whole.

Melaina's EveryWoman Workshop

Press your ear to the warm spring earth and hear Persephone’s fleet footfall, as she emerges from the underworld to joyfully reunite with the mother goddess of fruits and harvest, Demeter. The hiss and flit and rising sap of this season awakens in us all before we return, once more, to the underworld in an eternal spiral. How do stories of these long ago goddesses relate to our busy modern lives? How can we honour and harness the energy of these mysterious, archetypal forces for wonder, transformation and wholeness? How can we be nourished? Sacred storyteller, Melaina Faranda, shares this ancient story and, through creative writing activities and discussion, guides exploration of the powerful forces that abide in every woman, that abide in you. Affirming these timeless, mythic processes not only gives us power, it makes our twenty-first century lives bigger, more beautiful, and profound.
